Pretty good but got bogged down with a tick

I loved the other one by Lone Wolf (castle theme) so I tried this one out and its pretty good but sometimes it played erratically and the screen would flicker like a nervous tick. Also ran into problem with the four rings. I couldnt get them to do what they were supposed to do. I had a clue and was sure it pertained to the rings but no luck so I checked with the run-through and I was right all along and after trying a bunch of times, finally got rings to work but by that point, lost sense of where I was in the game and forgot stuff I needed to remember to go on with the game without using the hints feature....kinda annoying.
